Tony Nguyen

Tony Nguyen

Head Coach, Women's Cloth

Ottawa, Ontario

I have played competitive dodgeball for over 20 years with experience at the highest level of play in foam, cloth and rubber. Each with success at the world level. Growing up and to this day, I continue to play competitive sports outside of dodgeball (basketball, volleyball, soccer, football and softball). What a lot don’t know about me, is that I have obtained my black belt as well as competed in martial arts internationally.

Team Canada is looking better than ever! With nearly a decade of experience playing, organizing, and coaching dodgeball, I’m excited to take a leading position with Dodgeball Canada’s gold-medal winning mixed program. Both are former members of Team Canada’s National teams and strong leaders from their regional communities.

I have been around dodgeball for a dozen years, playing competitively and winning medals at national, regional, and international competitions. Brian Warring

Brian Warring

Head Coach, Mixed Cloth

Hamilton, Ontario

My name is Brian Warring and I’ve been playing cloth dodgeball since the day EDH, Canada’s first cloth league started in 2005 in Hamilton, Ontario. I was immediately obsessed with the game. After over a decade of playing and reffing at EDH I began branching out and playing in other organizations, (Dodgeball Niagara, PlayHamilton) discovering other styles of play and trying foam for the first time in 2016. I found out there was a National Dodgeball Team and that Canada would be hosting the world championship in Toronto in 2017. I was amazed at what I witnessed there and I knew I wanted to get involved at a higher level.
